What a weirdo XDI love that this author has so much fun with the writing. It almost excuses all the errors in here.Gabby has three new mates to find but one of them doesn’t want her. Which I can appreciate right off the bat but needless to say I don’t really like the misunderstandings of “I really wanted her all along” spiels cause it feels like plot armor. I much prefer when the author does her thing and makes your chest ache cause the dudes aren’t falling over her immediately.This book was pretty fast but entertaining. The ending was interesting, mainly cook and funny and a little scary.Now prepare for my confusion with spoilers.Ready? Okay.**spoilers!!**So when she lost her bond with her mates, she didn’t feel any love towards them. Doesn’t that mean the bonds are the only reason why she loves them?? Cause that’s how I took it and now this whole thing is weird. Like if it were with the newest dudes I wouldn’t care but she lost the longest ones, and I’d think by this point that she’d have some genuine love for them at least because hey! Time makes things! So I just don’t understand what the bond is if it’s so tied up to their love like that. Like... is this “bond” supposed to be actual love? Are you telling me it’s an instant love button? And because she can’t have another bond, she has to build it back up old school? That’s the only theory that makes me feel better because yikes. This is a brand new author to me and that can be very hit or miss, but I kept seeing this in my recommendations so I decided to give it a try. Two days later and I'm wrapping up book three and will now need to patiently wait on the release of book four.Why am I saying this is the best book yet?Two reasons. First, the humor. This book was hilarious. The fmc is so funny at times and that has been true since the start but this book had some of the laugh-out-loud funniest moments. Second, a big leap in suspense and drama.
